With an inspiring one-day workshop on 14 April 2023, seven young TRR 142 female scientists started their coaching programme FEMALE EMPOWERMENT.
Outside the comfort zone of their regular scientific research in quantum sciences, the young female researchers had the opportunity to reflect on their own career path, academic and personal goals and possible hurdles. Under the guidance of business coach Uta Stiene, they prepared their individual coaching sessions, which will follow in the coming months.
"We especially want to support women on their way through academic endeavours. With this exclusive coaching programme, which is tailored to our female scientists in TRR 142, we are underlining our efforts to promote young female scientists and encourage more women to follow their path," says Prof. Dr. Christine Silberhorn, who is certainly a great role model for many prospective female students.
