On 7 and 8 December 2023, Paderborn University hosted the 9th international workshop on Engineering of Quantum Emitter Properties (EQEP).
Prof Klaus Jöns, head of the group “Hybrid Quantum Photonic Devices” at Paderborn University and Principal Investigator within the CRC TRR 142 set up a two-day workshop programme featuring 22 presentations by speakers from all over the world. The 120 participants discussed state-of-the art research results and could explore the challenges in engineering of quantum sources in the future.
Prof Gregor Weihs, Vice-Rector for Research at the University of Innsbruck and Professor of Photonics at the Institute for Experimental Physics and Director of Research of the gave the keynote on the EQEP 2024 in Paderborn and will be hosting the next EQEP workshop 2025 in Innsbruck (Austria).
