The acatech HORIZONTE series examines fields of technology that are fundamentally changing our daily live, but whose impact is not yet clear. acatech aims to present and evaluate such technologies in a differentiated, clear and comprehensible way. The publications are the result of a broad-based discussion process. An advisory panel of prominent representatives from business, science and society consults acatech on the choice of the individual topics.
